A variable grid in selected grey tones. Unpredictable haywire, but in pretty precisely in a quantum mechanical sense.

Float: a warp or weft thread that passes over the top of several weft or warp threads at a time, so that a variety of relief patterns can be formed.

The float DVD contains 90 modules - the transitions between 10 of 216 possible states - that are conditionally linked to form an endless sequence.
